I'm growing and getting cuter by the minute! Posted by Hello

Nathaniel Jacob @ 12 weeks... my precious angel... Posted by Hello

The Joy of Being a Mom...

Well, Nathaniel Jacob got his first professional pictures taken this weekend at the Picture People... of course it took us forever to get him to smirk - and then he got MAD! We only got 3 good shots of him, and the two above came out the best. We'll try in a few months again.

His teeth are now bothering him - it all started about two weeks ago when I noticed him drooling a whole lot more than before, and slowly but surely, his bottom gums are getting whiter! I can't believe it! I had to buy some containers to clear out some of the clothes he has already outgrown... it's full! He's growing and changing so fast. I'd say he's over 13 pounds now! His sleeping patterns are getting more consistent, and I am enjoying it while it lasts! He's been sleeping from 8:30pm-4:00am for about a week and a half! Horray for Mom and Dad! :)

If only he could stay little...

Life with Nathaniel Jacob... he brightens our days and makes us forget what life was like without him. All I keep thinking is that I can't WAIT until June and I can spend entire days with him. Being back at work is great, but at the same time, I feel like I am missing so much. He changes every day... his personality is really coming out! He loves to stand up and enjoys being proped up on the couch so he can sit by himself. He is always looking around and loves looking at the windows when the sun is shining through. At times I wish I could freeze time so I can capture all his little noises and gestures... how he grabs by shirt when I feed him, how he stares at the images in the books we read together, how he has a thousand different smiles and how when he smiles, his eyes squint just like mine, and how no matter what we do, his hair has a mind of its own... if only he could stay little...
