Being nine months old is SERIOUS business... 

Oh yeah... Mom felt guilty for not getting me a cupcake last month and now I get a WHOLE CAKE to myself... YUM! 

Come on Dada... icing in the MOUTH!  

I have no idea what this is, but I bet it sure tastes GOOD... 

I never want to forget...

how you lift up your arms when I bend down to pick you up... how you peek through the railing of your crib when I go to wake you up in the morning... your laughter at all my crazy dance moves... how you LOVE to play peek-a-boo... how you love the remote control, AND the phone, AND the keyboard... how happy I am to be your mommy.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

I am very excited for Nathaniel's first Christmas ~ in spite of the colder weather, Christmastime is my favorite time of the year. No other time of the year seems to have such a sense of anticipation and wonder ~ I am excited to see Nathaniel's eyes as he looks upon our Christmas tree for the first time, as he hears us sing carols celebrating Jesus' birth. He's nine months now, and getting bigger and more gorgeous every day! He already needs another haircut, and his 12 month clothes are too small for him. I swear I am not feeding him spinach; he is the strongest baby I have ever seen! He likes to sit on his own and sometimes I can barely hold him because he is pushing away from me to either try to stand or get on the floor to roll around. No new words since 'da-da', but at times he will yell and "talk" like it takes every ounce of energy to get one sound out of his mouth! It's hilarious; he has 1,001 facial expressions!

Nathaniel and Grandma... How could we not dress him up again? He is the cutest pot of hunny I've ever seen!
