How could I possible get any cuter???

If you could see me now...

Our little Nathan is 5 1/2 months old now and changing every day! He used to cry when he woke up; now he 'talks' - he moves his mouth and tongue all around and it really sounds like he wants to say something! He rolls around with ease and grabs for everything with amazing speed- especially my hair! He's an old pro with the spoon now, too... he's had cereal, bananas, pears, peaches and carrots - it took him a few days to get used to the taste and texture of the carrots, but he will pretty much eat anything you can fit on a spoon!

It was so funny - I went with my mom to the outlets in Atlantic City, and we stopped in at Starbucks. He was STARING at me drinking my frappuccino, so I gave him a little of the whipped cream and he was licking it up like crazy! I can't imagine seeing him eat REAL food!

Well, my summer break is coming to a close and I am missing Nathan already! I am afraid I'll miss his first tooth coming through ~ his gums have been REALLY bothering him lately; I can't imagine him with a tooth! He's changed so much these past months... I don't want him to grow up, but at the same time, I can't wait to hear his first words, see him take his first steps... to watch him... wait. WHAT AM I SAYING??? I really CAN wait until I have to chase him around the house when he doesn't want to take a bath or ask me "But why, Mom?" for the millionth time! I'll take the neverending drool for now and love every second of it.
